The free FocusMe extension makes website blocking faster and more precise. It works with the desktop app, not on its own, so install FocusMe first.

After installing

  1. Open FocusMe

    Quick Setup asks what you are fighting and how strict to be, then builds a plan for each problem you picked.

  2. Se connecter

    Its last step signs you in with the account from your free trial or licence, so your plans sync to every device.

  3. Press play

    Add the browser extension, then start a plan. The Plan Library has ready-made plans for social media, games and more.

Is FocusMe free to download?

The desktop apps come with a 14-day free trial of everything, no card needed. After that, a monthly, yearly or lifetime licence. The Android and iPhone apps are free to download, and blocking, schedules and time limits need no account or payment on the phone.

Do I need the browser extension?

Websites are blocked in every browser without it. The extension makes URL detection faster and more precise, so we recommend it. It needs the desktop app installed.

Can I install FocusMe on more than one computer?

Yes. One licence covers 5 computers and 2 mobile devices, Windows, Mac and Linux mixed as you like, and your plans sync between them when you sign in.

Which installer do I need on Windows?

FocusMeSetup.exe, the standard installation, for most people. If your Windows account has no administrator rights, use the non-admin installer on the download page.
