I have it set to block Facebook during specific times (so that I'm not surfing the newsfeeds), but I often get messenger requests that are critical to the time frame (business associates if we're dealing with a launch for example).
It would be great if there was a way to block facebook.com but not the Messenger itself. I know it probably wouldn't be easy because it's facebook.com/messages…
But if there was a way it would be great. Otherwise I have to turn off the fb block… and then it's easier to get distracted LOL. (I do often stick with messenger on my phone so that I don't have to turn it off, but if there's a lot to type to a biz associate or if I have to share something from my desktop, then it's the whole stop thing).
Hi Amber, thanks for sharing with us your request. Blocking facebook.com and allowing facebook.com/message can be achieved by adding facebook.com to your blocklist and facebook.com/message to your allowlist.
